Not only did she get the Tony Award, but her performance was also praised by reviewers. The following year she was made the lead character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her becoming more famous. She is a popular singer. she has also released both a song and a play. In addition, she's an activist who fights in the fight for LGBT rights.
