Annie Mist Thorisdottir, from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She co-owns Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie was the first female ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion, and a popular media figure. She has gained fame for being the only woman who has ever won the two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. In 2013 and 2017, she won her first Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie together with her the rest of her family, was born in Reykjavik Iceland. She was a keen sportsperson and worked out from the age of five. She participated for the first time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games held in California in which she performed very well. Annie Thorisdottir is, as of 2021, is aged 31. She is 5'7" tall, and weighs around 67 pounds. Annie started the CrossFit journey in 2009 California. In the initial games she performed very well and was ranked in the Top 10 out of 70. She did not manage to get any results from this tournament and she ended it with a ranking of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In the same year, under Jami's direction, she was awarded the silver medal in the CrossFit Games. The following year she was a participant with Jami Tikkanen in CrossFit Games and won them because of her dominating performances. She was the first woman to ever be the winner of CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie was again the winner of her first CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and became the first woman who won twice in CrossFit Games consecutively. She also received a gold medal. And in 2021, she won a bronze. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. Annie's rising fame as an athlete has made her the model for a variety of brands in sports, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration-Sidekick Yerb. She also has her own Youtube channel called "Annie" which has over 1000 subscribers. It is the channel the channel where she posts videos on training diet, family life as well as travel.
